Carving

I started carving my giant linoleum block last week but had to stop for a little while because I got an invisible deep blister/bruise on my finger.  It's mostly healed and now I have some gauze to wrap around my carving knife to help with the blistering.

I've drawn most of the parts of the print onto transfer paper and will transfer each piece at a time.

I've wanted to do a large linoleum block print ever since I saw the John Buck exhibit at the Crocker last year.  Did you see it?  He does sculpture and wood cuts and some of them are huge!  So impressive.
